This is my favourite story on being incarnational at work.
My friend, Olive, is an x-ray technician. Her boses wants the work environment to be strictly non-religious and they mandated that no one can pray in their workplace. One day, a lady Olive knew received really bad news after her tests and the other techs told Olive she was needed. As Olive walked down the hallway, she wondered what she should do. Should she defy her bosses and pray with her friend or ask to meet her friend later?
What Olive did was walk into the room and say, "I'm not allowed to pray for you." Then Olive opened up her arms and said, "Come into the arms of Jesus."
Later, Olive found out that her bosses were outside the door, listening to hear if she would not cooperate with their rules.
